Pacific Mambo Orchestra
Sideby Side
University Performance & Education Partnership
Your students. Our musicians. One stage.

Shared performance · Professional mentorship
A place inside
the orchestra.
Side by Side pairs advanced university and conservatory musicians with PMO for a shared rehearsal and concert experience. A 13-piece touring ensemble joins seven students selected by PMO, with professional musicians leading the horn sections.
Student horn section: 2 trumpets · 3 saxophones · 2 trombones.
PMO provides advance performance materials and leads dedicated rehearsals.
Workshops & master classes
Learning that goes
beyond the concert.
Connect your musicians with participating PMO artists for instruction in ensemble performance, Latin rhythm, instrumental technique, and musical interpretation.
Paid workshops and master classes can be booked independently of student concert participation. Sessions are tailored to institutional goals and instructor availability.

A partnership built
around your community.
Bring an existing university or conservatory relationship, or explore potential partners with us. PMO, the presenter, and the institution develop the activities, schedule, and investment together—alongside a new concert booking or as an addition to an existing engagement.

Perform
Bring the partnership to life through instruction, rehearsals, and a shared concert.
Side by Side is subject to PMO musician approval, rehearsal requirements, and coordination with the presenter and participating institution. Student compensation, educational fees, and each partner’s responsibilities are agreed in advance. A broader residency may combine teaching, rehearsals, and performance activities.
